Cyclamen is an ornamental flower with small plants but beautiful flowers. Many people like to place its potted plants on the balcony or indoors. So how should cyclamen be cultivated? What should be paid attention to during the cultivation process? Next, the editor will give you a detailed introduction.

Cyclamen cultivation methods and precautions

1. The breeding environment of cyclamen

Cyclamen likes warm and sunny places. It is afraid of heat and waterlogging. It grows fastest when the outside temperature is around 20 degrees. If it exceeds 30 degrees, cyclamen will enter dormancy. When the temperature is too low, cyclamen will die. Therefore, cyclamen should be placed in a sunny greenhouse when it is cultivated.

2. Water and fertilizer management of cyclamen

Cyclamen likes moist soil, but it is afraid of waterlogging. Too much water is not conducive to the growth of cyclamen, and it will cause root rot and death. Therefore, when cultivating cyclamen, you must water it properly, just keep the soil moist every day, and do not allow water to accumulate. Cyclamen is also a fertilizer-loving plant. Before planting, you should apply enough base fertilizer, and spray foliar fertilizer with better effects fifteen to twenty days before it blooms.

3. Management of Cyclamen flowering period

The management of the flowering period of cyclamen during cultivation is also very important. Correct management can prolong its flowering period and make the flower color more attractive. When it enters the flowering period, it should be placed in a place with sufficient sunlight. In addition, some Zhuangdi Ling should be sprayed. This will make the cyclamen buds stronger and the petals will become plump and pleasing.
