Stir-fried pork with cowpea:Ingredients: A handful of fresh cowpeas, a red pepper (carrots are also OK), a small piece of pork belly, a little onion, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, MSG, sugar Method: Step (1) Wash the cowpeas and cut them into 1-inch square pieces. Cut the pork belly into shredded meat. Cut the red pepper (or carrot) into shreds. Chop the green onion, ginger and garlic. Step (2) Heat the oil in a pan until it is about 70% to 80% hot, pour in the shredded pork and turn to medium heat. Bake the shredded pork until the edges are tender and the oil oozes out. Add two drops of soy sauce, add chopped green onion and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant. Pour in cowpea and shredded red pepper (or carrot), turn to high heat and stir-fry, add salt, sugar, and a little water, turn to medium heat, cover the pot and simmer for a while. When the water is almost dry, turn to high heat, add chopped garlic and MSG, and serve. |
