How to eat figs

1. Boil sugar water

Figs can be cooked with rock sugar to make syrup. When cooking, it is best to choose fresh figs that are not fully ripe. Wash them, remove the skin, then break them in the middle, put them in a clean bowl, add appropriate amount of rock sugar, put them into the pot and stew them in water. After the water boils, stew them for another half an hour. After stewing, take them out and drink the soup and eat the figs.

2. Cook soup

Figs can also be used to make soup. When making soup with them, you need to prepare five or six fresh figs, one apple, a peach, and 20 grams of lily. Peel all the prepared fresh figs, apples, and peaches, and remove the pulp, then cut them into pieces. Wash the lilies in advance, put them into the pot together with the cut fruit pieces, add clean water, bring to a boil over high heat, then add an appropriate amount of rock sugar and cook over medium and low heat for half an hour. You can now get a delicious fruit soup.

3. Cook porridge

Figs can also be used to make porridge. If you use fresh figs to make porridge, you need to wash it in advance and break it into small pieces. If you use dried figs to make porridge, you need to soak it in clean water in advance and then break it into small pieces. In addition, you need to prepare an appropriate amount of rice and rock sugar. Put the processed figs and the washed rice into the pot together, heat and boil, then add rock sugar and cook them together to make porridge. After cooking, take it out and cool it down before eating.

4. Stewed Pig’s Trotters

Figs can also be stewed with pig's trotters. When making it, you need to prepare two fresh pig's trotters, wash them and chop them into pieces, then prepare 100 grams of enoki mushrooms and 200 grams of figs, wash them separately, prepare a stew pot, put the processed pig's trotters into the pot, add ginger, pepper, garlic and appropriate amount of water, then add the prepared figs and enoki mushrooms, heat and boil, then stew for two hours, then add appropriate amount of chopped green onion, table salt and MSG for seasoning, mix well and stew for another ten minutes before serving.
