How to eat guava? Common ways to eat guava

Many people have heard of guava, and know that it is a tropical fruit with extremely high nutritional value. However, when you actually see a green guava, you feel at a loss as to how to eat it. In fact, there are many different ways to eat guava, and I will write them all down and share them with you.

1. Pickled guava

Many people feel that guava is particularly hard after buying it. In this case, you can wash it with clean water, then cut it into thin slices with a knife, and then take an appropriate amount of bayberry powder or licorice powder and sprinkle it on the sliced guava slices. After mixing well, marinate it for three to five hours. After marinating, you can eat it directly with a toothpick. It tastes particularly good.

2. Eat fresh directly

Guava is a fruit that can be eaten fresh, but it is best to wait until it is fully ripe before eating it directly. Most fully ripe guavas will feel slightly soft when squeezed by hand. At this time, wash its surface with clean water, and then eat it bit by bit like you normally eat an apple.

3. Make juice

Making guava juice is also one of the common ways to eat it. This method is most common in the south where it is produced. When making it, you can take three to five fresh guavas, wash them, cut them into pieces, put them into a juicer, add an appropriate amount of boiled water, and then let the juicer work. After taking out the juice and putting it into a cup, add honey to taste and you can drink it.

4. Make preserved fruits

Guava can also be made into dried fruit and eaten later. When making it, you can wash the guava, cut it into larger pieces, add a small amount of table salt and marinate it for a while. After removing the moisture, put it on the baking tray of the oven and bake it directly in the oven. The temperature can be set to about 150 degrees. After baking for more than ten minutes, take it out and turn it over until all the moisture inside is dried up. After taking it out and cooling it down, it can be stored for a long time. You can eat it directly when you want to eat it.
