Cultivation methods and precautions of Michelia

Michelia is a beautiful flower plant with elegant color and attractive fragrance. Many people like to grow it in pots at home, but some people can never grow it well. Today I will introduce to you the cultivation method of Michelia, and also write down the precautions for growing Michelia. I believe that after understanding it, you can easily grow Michelia.

Cultivation methods and precautions of Michelia

1. Selection of potting soil for Michelia

Michelia is a plant with fleshy roots. When preparing the pot, be sure to choose soil with good permeability. It is best to use four parts of leaf mold, three parts of garden soil, and two parts of familiar fertilizer soil, and finally add one part of sand. After mixing it well, you can plant Michelia.

2. Michelia's requirements for sunlight

The Michelia plant has certain requirements for sunlight during its growth period. It cannot be exposed to the sun in summer and should be shaded as necessary, otherwise the strong light will burn its leaves. When the weather turns cooler in autumn, you can put it in the sun to get more sunlight. In winter, you should move the Michelia indoors and place it in a sunny and ventilated environment.

3. Michelia's requirements for water and temperature

Michelia is a plant with fleshy roots. When watering, do not allow water to accumulate in the pot. It is sufficient to water it about once a week, but you should spray water on the leaves several times in between to maintain a certain humidity. This is very beneficial to its growth and flowering. In addition, Michelia likes a warm environment. It grows fastest at around 20 degrees. It cannot be placed in an environment below five degrees in winter, otherwise it will die due to the low temperature.
