Ingredients and methods of pumpkin bean paste balls

Ingredients for Pumpkin Bean Paste Balls:

100g pumpkin, 2 tablespoons sugar, 100g glutinous rice flour, 100g red bean paste, 1 bowl of fermented rice, some wolfberry

Pumpkin bean paste balls method:

1. Wash the pumpkin, cut it into pieces, and steam it. After it cools down a little, add a tablespoon of sugar, crush it with a spoon, and mix it with glutinous rice flour in a 1:1 ratio to form a dough. Soak wolfberries in water;

2. Divide the pumpkin glutinous rice balls into 20g balls and the red bean paste balls into 10g balls. Flatten a glutinous rice ball, then wrap it with red bean paste and seal it into a round shape.

3. Boil water in a pot, add fermented glutinous rice and continue to boil, then add the prepared red bean paste pumpkin balls and cook;

4. Put the soaked wolfberries into the pot, wait until all the dumplings float on the water, then turn off the heat. Finally, add a large spoonful of sugar and mix well.

Tips:

1. Steam the pumpkin, add sugar, crush it and add glutinous rice flour. The finer the crushing, the better the dumplings will taste.

2. Try to make the dumplings of similar size, so that they taste better and look better;

3. You can add wolfberry and red dates when stewing according to your personal taste and preference, and drizzle honey or sugar osmanthus when eating;

4. This recipe can not only replenish qi and promote blood circulation, but also make your face rosy after eating it. It is also very suitable for postpartum women.
