How to make pickled sugar garlic

1. Remove the old outer skin of the prepared fresh garlic, peel off its roots, and cut off the garlic stems with scissors. After processing, put the garlic in clean water and soak it with appropriate amount of table salt.

2. Marinate for three to five days, changing the water once or twice a day. This will remove some of the spicy smell in the garlic. Take out the soaked garlic and remove the water. Place the garlic stems downwards and marinate for a while.

3. Put white vinegar, sugar and water into a pot and heat them to boil to make sweet and sour sauce. Then put the garlic into the garlic pickling bottle and pour the cooled sweet and sour sauce into it. Make sure the sweet and sour sauce covers the garlic. Seal it and marinate in a cool place.
