Introduction to Eel and Shrimp Porridge

I overworked this week. On Tuesday, I took a yoga class and half a street dance class at the gym. After that, I went to the gym to do 20 sit-ups in two sessions. I sweated a lot during the street dance part, so I was obviously exhausted by the end. I also played two bowling games this week, went to South Australia for FB for two days, and went to the border for a day. Overall, I felt a headache all over my body;(

I felt a little dehydrated when I came back, but I wasn't particularly hungry. I quickly replenished my water and drank a Gatorade at the gym. After coming back, I drank two large glasses of water and ate three pieces of watermelon. I still felt thirsty, but there was nothing I could do because my stomach was full. I had dinner at home. Before I left, I had prepared everything and planned to come back to eat. Tracy changed her plan and said she would come back to eat, but she was starving before I came back from the gym. Mily also started to complain about hunger at the gym. Fortunately, all the ingredients were ready, and a big pot of delicious yellow eel shrimp porridge was cooked quickly. The two guys were so hungry that their eyes turned green. Haha, in the end, the three of us finished the whole pot of porridge. Mily drank 4 and a half bowls, Tracy drank 4 bowls, and I only drank 2 bowls because I drank too much water before.

For every diabetic patient, whether type 1 or type 2, adherence to drug treatment is a must, but diet control is always the basis of treatment. In addition to the well-known foods that are good for diabetes, eel is also a good choice.

Eel, also known as yellow eel, long fish, sea snake, etc., is a specialty of my country. Eel is delicious, with few bones and thick meat, which is fine and tender. There is a saying among the Chinese people that "yellow eel in the Lesser Heat is as good as ginseng". Yellow eel tastes sweet and warm in nature. Chinese medicine believes that it can replenish deficiency, eliminate rheumatism, and strengthen bones and muscles. Modern nutritional research also shows that eel meat contains protein, fat, phosphorus, calcium, iron, multiple vitamins and niacin. It is an excellent food with high protein and low fat, and it is especially suitable for people who are weak after illness, weak body, and malnourished.
