1. Store in a cold storage box

After peeling, the jackfruit can be stored in the cold room of the refrigerator. Because the flesh of this fruit contains a high level of sugar, it is easy to breed bacteria if it is stored directly at room temperature, which will cause it to deteriorate quickly. It is best to put the peeled jackfruit in a fresh-keeping box, seal it and put it in the refrigerator. This way, it can be stored for 3 to 5 days without deterioration.

2. Cryopreservation

After peeling, the jackfruit can be frozen. When storing, you can wrap them with plastic wrap and put them directly into the freezer of the refrigerator. This can also keep them for a long time. However, the taste of the jackfruit will change after freezing, and the nutrients will be relatively lost. The edible value is not as good as fresh jackfruit.

3. Drying and preservation

The shelf life of peeled jackfruit is short. If you want to extend its shelf life, you can dry the jackfruit flesh. The best way to preserve it is to place it on a baking tray in the oven, put it in the oven and set the oven temperature to about 60 degrees. After 34 hours of baking, it will be dehydrated and then stored in a cool and ventilated environment. It can be eaten as dried fruit.

4. Make jam for preservation

After peeling, the jackfruit can be made into jam and then stored, which can effectively extend its shelf life. When making it, you can put the jackfruit pulp in a food processor, mash it, add appropriate amount of honey and mix well, marinate it for a few hours, then put it into the pot and cook it over medium and low heat. After it becomes a thick sauce, take it out and put it in a clean glass bottle, seal it and refrigerate it.
