How to make candied kumquat? How to make candied kumquat?

Candied kumquat is sweet and sour, chewy and has high nutritional value. Many people like to eat it. Some people also want to make candied kumquat at home, but they don’t know how to make it. In fact, the preparation of this food is not complicated. I will write down the recipe later and you can learn it after reading it.

How to make candied kumquat

Method 1

1. To make kumquat preserves, you need to prepare 250 grams of kumquats, some sugar, rock sugar, and salt, and a microwave oven or light wave oven. Dissolve the salt in clean water and soak the kumquats directly in the salt water.

2. Take out the soaked kumquats, drain the water and use a knife to make some cuts on the surface, but do not cut through the middle. Put them in a bowl, add appropriate amount of rock sugar and white sugar, mix well, then add appropriate amount of clean water and mix well.

3. Put the bowl with kumquats into a microwave oven or light wave oven, press the cooking button, cook for 20 minutes, take it out and dehumidify it, and after it cools down, you will get delicious kumquat candied fruits.

Method 2

1. When making kumquat preserves at home, you can prepare 1 kilogram of fresh kumquats, 100 grams of sugar, 50 grams of rock sugar, and an appropriate amount of salt. Wash the kumquats with clean water, squeeze out the seeds, put them into a pot, add an appropriate amount of clean water, put in rock sugar and edible salt, and cook together.

2. After boiling, simmer over medium heat for about half an hour. When the kumquats in the pot become soft, lower the heat to medium. Take out the kumquats, add sugar and marinate for a few hours. After the white part melts, put it back into a non-stick pan and fry slowly. When a layer of white frost appears on the surface of the kumquats, turn off the heat, take it out and let it cool down to make homemade kumquat preserves.

3. Although the kumquat preserves you make at home are not as good-looking as those sold outside, no other ingredients are added during the production process, so their safety is absolutely guaranteed. They can also retain the nutrients of kumquats to the greatest extent, making them beneficial rather than harmful to people's bodies.
