How to grow garlic in pots

Materials needed for potted garlic

If you want to plant garlic in a flowerpot, you must prepare an appropriate amount of dried garlic, an appropriate amount of fertile soil, a flowerpot and an appropriate amount of clean water.

Steps for planting garlic in pots

1. Pour the prepared soil into the flowerpot. Be careful not to fill it too full. 70% full is enough. After filling it, remove the outermost layer of skin of the prepared garlic and separate them into individual cloves.

2. Insert the separated garlic cloves evenly into the soil in the flowerpot, and then cover them with an appropriate amount of soil, about one centimeter thick.

3. After planting, take out the clean water and pour it into the flowerpot. Be sure to water it thoroughly, then place the flowerpot in a cool and ventilated place and wait for the garlic to sprout.

4. After the garlic is planted, it should be watered every two or three days. After about fifteen to twenty days, the garlic will grow into garlic sprouts about twenty centimeters long. At this time, you can use scissors to cut the garlic sprouts, leaving about one centimeter at the bottom. After a while, fresh garlic sprouts will grow.
