Begonia species and cultivation methods

Begonia is a common ornamental flower in life. It has attractive colors and a unique floral scent. Many people like it very much. But do you know the types and cultivation methods of Begonia? If you don’t know, let’s take a look with me.

Types of Begonia flowers

There are many different types of begonias, such as the Begonia sibiricus and Begonia papaya in the genus Chaenomeles and the Begonia and Begonia sibiricus in the Begoniaceae family, which are all common varieties of begonias. In addition, the Manchurian begonia, the weeping begonia, the radish begonia and the lantern begonia are also relatively famous among begonias and are people's favorite flower varieties to cultivate.

How to grow Begonia

1. Choice of soil for growing crabapple

Begonias do not have high requirements for soil quality. You just need to choose soil with good drainage. It is best to use fertile garden soil with some humus and chaff ash. In addition, it can also be cultivated with mountain mud. It is just necessary to put some bone meal or cake crumbs as base fertilizer before potting, otherwise the planted begonias will not grow normally due to insufficient fertilizer.

3. Supply of fertilizer and water when cultivating crabapples

When growing crabapples, there are many things to pay attention to when watering them. You need to boil more water in spring and summer, especially in midsummer. However, be careful not to allow water to accumulate in the flowerpots. If you fail to water them in time in summer, the leaves of the crabapples will wither. Crabapples are fertilizer-loving plants. They should be fertilized once every leaf emergence. The fertilizer should be a mixture of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other fertilizers. During the flowering period, you can also add some organic fertilizers such as bone meal and fish water, which will make the flowers more colorful.
