1. Breaking the bowl flower can cure malaria and indigestion

The rhizome of the flower of the broken bowl is used as medicine to treat febrile dysentery, gastritis, various stubborn ringworms, malaria, etc. The whole plant can be used as medicine to prevent and control rice budworms, mudworms, rice borers, cotton aphids, cabbage worms, fly maggots, etc., as well as wheat leaf rust and wheat stem rust.

2. Breaking the bowl flower can cure injuries

We can take one or two ounces of wild cotton and soak it in children's urine for 24 hours, dry it and grind it into powder, take it with rice wine, 5 fen to 1 qian each time, twice a day. Similarly, taking an appropriate amount of wild cotton for external application can treat baldness and furunculosis.

3. Medicinal characteristics of Broken Bowl Flower

The medicinal part of this plant is the root, which tastes slightly bitter. It is in the shape of an oblong strip, curved, and of varying lengths. The surface is dark brown, rough, with twisted longitudinal lines, and protruding rootlets and root marks. The root head is relatively thick, with residual dry petioles and dense gray-white hairs. It is brittle, fibrous in cross section, light yellow-brown, with brown rays. It has a slight odor and tastes bitter.
