How to make pie with wild amaranth

Preparation of wild amaranth for making pies

You can prepare 200 grams of wild amaranth and two eggs, and then an appropriate amount of flour. You can also add appropriate amounts of oil, salt, onion, ginger and other seasonings.

Specific steps for making wild amaranth pies

1. You can put the noodles in a basin, scald it with boiling water, and then knead it into dough. This way the noodles will be softer. Knead the noodles and set aside.

2. Wash the wild amaranth and chop it into pieces with a knife. The leaves can be kept whole, and the pie made from it will taste better.

3. Before mixing the filling, press the dough into two pieces. Put the chopped wild amaranth in a bowl, add salt, cooking oil, ginger and green onion, crack the egg and mix it into the filling.

4. Put the prepared filling directly on the dough, spread it evenly with chopsticks, then cover it with another dough and press it tightly around. Put the base oil in the electric pancake machine, heat it up, put the prepared pie in, fry it until both sides are golden brown, then take it out, and your own wild amaranth pie is ready.
