Homemade recipe of dried sea cucumber

Of course, the raw materials are indispensable, that is, the ingredients, which require 30 grams of dried sea cucumber and 3 grams of green onion.

Homemade steps for making dried sea cucumber:

1. Since it is a dried sea cucumber, it is natural to rinse and soak it first. You can directly use tap water to wash off a little dust on the surface. Then soak it in cold purified water for about 24 hours. Be warned to change the water twice in between. It is best to soak the sea cucumber until it is soft.

2. Cut the softened sea cucumber longitudinally from the abdomen, and then remove the tooth-like object at the front end of the sea cucumber, i.e. the sand spout.

3. Add purified water to an oil-free pot, cover with a lid and bring to a boil. Then switch to medium heat and cook for 35 to 50 minutes. Then turn off the heat and simmer without removing the lid until the cooked dried sea cucumber cools down naturally.

4. Replace with new cold purified water and soak the boiled dried sea cucumber for about 48 hours. Change the water 2 to 3 times in the middle. When it is ready to eat, it can be eaten.

5. When eating, you can use a sloped knife to cut the soaked sea cucumber into strips, and add green onions and red peppers cut into 3 cm segments.

6. You can blanch the sea cucumber in a wok with boiling water, or you can simmer it over low heat.

7. Place the stewed sea cucumber and fried scallion segments on a plate and thicken with wet starch.
