Material

When making ginger candy cubes at home, you only need to prepare fresh ginger and brown sugar, an air fryer and a food processor.

Steps

1. Wash the prepared ginger with clean water, remove the moisture, then peel the ginger, cut the peeled ginger into slices, and use a food processor to make ginger puree for later use.

2. Prepare a stewing pot and put the minced ginger in it, with a layer of minced ginger and a layer of brown sugar. Cover the stewing pot and steam it. Steam for another 15 minutes after the water boils. Turn off the heat and take it out.

3. Apply a layer of cooking oil on the bottom of the air fryer, then place the steamed ginger candy on the baking tray, flatten it and press it down. Preheat the air fryer for ten minutes, then adjust it to 180 degrees and bake the ginger candy in it for twenty minutes.

4. After taking it out, cut it into pieces and put it in a sealable bottle and refrigerate it. The homemade ginger candy pieces are ready to eat.

5. This is a modern way of making ginger candy blocks. Using advanced tools like air fryers can save people a lot of effort. If you don’t have an air fryer at home, you can boil brown sugar and ginger together. After it becomes a thick paste, take it out and compact it. After it cools down, you can also cut it into blocks.
