10g each of red chrysanthemum and codonopsis, 100g of polished rice, some sugar

How to make red chrysanthemum and codonopsis pilosula porridge

1. We need to soak Codonopsis pilosula and red chrysanthemum in water for about one to two hours in advance.

2. Wash the japonica rice, put it in a pressure cooker, and soak it for about 20 minutes (to make the rice grains fuller and taste better), then boil the japonica rice directly over high heat.

3. Pour in red chrysanthemum and codonopsis, cook for a while, then add sugar and stir before serving.

Tips

Do not take Veratrum, Aconiti Lateralis Preparata and other medicines when taking this porridge, as these medicines are incompatible with Codonopsis pilosula and will cause poisoning.
