How to eat perfumed pineapple How to eat perfumed pineapple without peeling it

Perfume pineapple is a precious variety of the pineapple family and a local specialty of Hainan. When this pineapple matures, the fruit is golden yellow, the flesh is crisp and tender, the juice is large, and the taste is particularly sweet. When used, it will emit a charming and elegant perfume smell, which is why it got its name. So what are the different ways to eat this perfume pineapple? How should it be eaten without peeling it?

Eating tips

1. Eat fresh directly

The perfumed pineapple, like other pineapples, can be eaten fresh after the skin is removed. It is best to soak the flesh of the perfumed pineapple in light salt water for half an hour, then take it out and rinse it with clean water, and then eat it directly. This allows people to taste the charming fragrance of the perfumed pineapple and prevent allergic symptoms.

2. Make jam

Perfume pineapple is an important raw material for making jam. Usually, you can remove the skin of the ripe perfumed pineapple, then mash its flesh into a paste, add an appropriate amount of rock sugar, and marinate it for 3 to 4 hours. After marinating, pour the flesh and juice directly into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, and then simmer over low heat for about half an hour. After it becomes a thick paste, turn off the heat and cool it down. After taking it out, put it into a glass bottle and seal it. It is homemade pineapple jam.

How to eat without peeling

In addition to the above methods, you can also eat perfumed pineapple directly without peeling it. When eating, you can wash the perfumed pineapple with clean water, then cut it into pieces like cutting watermelon, eat the flesh directly, and finally throw away the remaining peel. However, when eating perfumed pineapple in this way, you must avoid direct contact between its juice and the skin, otherwise it is easy to cause allergic symptoms such as rashes or itching on the skin.

Food taboos

Perfume pineapple is rich in protease, so it is not suitable to be eaten with high-protein foods, otherwise the protein will coagulate and it will be difficult for the human body to digest and absorb! In addition, perfume pineapple also contains a lot of sugar substances, so those who have high blood sugar and diabetes are not suitable to eat perfume pineapple.
