How to ripen persimmons quickly

Persimmons are available in large quantities in autumn, but some people find that the persimmons that should be soft, sweet and sweet are bitter and astringent. 1. White wine wiping method

If the persimmons you bought are not ripe yet, you can ripen them by wiping them with white wine after you get home. 2. Stew at high temperature

Properly increasing the temperature of persimmons can also make them ripen quickly, which is also the safest way to ripen them. Usually, put the unripe persimmons you bought home in a warm environment. It is best if the surrounding temperature can be maintained at 40 to 50 degrees. Cover the surface of the persimmons with several layers of quilts to make it airtight. After five or six days, the persimmons will become ripe.

3. Hot water immersion method

If you want to ripen persimmons in your life, you can use the hot water soaking method. You can soak the unripe persimmons in warm water at 55 to 60 degrees, change the water 2 to 3 times a day, and after 2 to 3 days, the persimmons will be ripe, and the sour and unpalatable persimmons will become soft and sweet. However, this method is not suitable for ripening a large number of persimmons, and they must be eaten immediately after ripening, otherwise they will easily deteriorate.

4. Drug ripening

It is not practical to learn the above methods if you want to ripen persimmons in large quantities. The best way is to spray drugs on the surface of unripe persimmons. Ethephon is one of the commonly used ripening drugs. It can be diluted to make a liquid medicine and sprayed directly on the surface of persimmons. Then put them in a warm environment. After two or three days, the persimmons will be fully ripe, and the ripening effect is particularly good.
