How to make your own Chuanbei loquat paste

Sichuan loquat paste ingredients list

2 kg loquat, 4 g Fritillaria cirrhosa, 300 g crystal sugar

Steps for making Chuanbei loquat paste

1. Prepare loquats.

2. Peel the loquats, remove the core, and wash with water. Drain the water.

3. Then put it into a food processor and blend it into a paste.

4. Pour the loquat pulp into a stainless steel pot and bring to a boil over high heat on the stove.

5. After boiling, add rock sugar and simmer on low heat.

6. After boiling for one hour, add the Fritillaria, stir evenly and continue boiling.

7. Cook until it becomes thick and the water is almost gone. This will take about 3 hours.

8. You can put it into a sterilized glass bottle while it is still hot, put it in the refrigerator, and eat it whenever you want.
