How to consume olive oil

Olive oil is an edible oil that can be consumed in any way.

Of course, the best way is to spread it on bread and mix it with lettuce. This way, all the nutrients of olive oil can be preserved. Olive oil meets the hygiene standards for direct consumption and can be imported directly without any scruples.

Spread bread

The breakfast of the residents in the Mediterranean region is bread and olive oil. Pour olive oil on the bread slices (toasted or untoasted), spread a little, and sprinkle a little salt, and it will be a very delicious food. If you fry an egg with olive oil, add a glass of milk and a glass of juice, it will be a very rich breakfast, and you don’t have to worry about whether eating eggs will increase cholesterol, because the olive oil is already there to protect you.

Mixed lettuce

The ingredients for salad dressing can be obtained from local sources, such as lettuce, cucumber, tomato, carrot, etc. Cut them into strips or slices, add olive oil, fruit acid (or white vinegar) and a small amount of refined salt, and you have a salad that can be served. If you like, you can also add some seasonings such as MSG, pepper or coriander. If you can buy "sweet onions" (onions that are not too spicy), cut them into strips and add them, then it will be authentic Mediterranean salad. However, the best Mediterranean salad is olive oil mixed with avocado. If you can buy avocado, you must try it.

Olive oil can also be used for cooking or frying food

The only difference is that olive oil is more resistant to high temperatures than other practical oils. No matter what kind of oil, when heated to a certain degree, peroxidation will occur. And peroxides are very harmful to the human body. Therefore, many doctors and nutritionists recommend not to overheat the oil when cooking, eat less fried foods as much as possible, and especially require that the oil left over from fried foods should not be reused. However, you can be much more assured when using olive oil to cook or fry foods, because compared with other cooking oils, olive oil contains much more antioxidants, so it will not produce peroxides when heated to 200-220 degrees Celsius. When frying food, if you are using an induction cooker that can control the temperature, you can enjoy the fried food with confidence, and you don’t have to pour out the remaining oil, you can use it again.
