Mechanical refrigeration preservation method: This method requires the temperature to be controlled at -1°~1℃, and the humidity at 85%~90%. First, use air cooling to lower the temperature of the cherries to 1℃, and then store them in a cold storage. This method can keep the cherries for about 30 days.
Controlled atmosphere storage method for cherries :First, pack the picked cherries in silicone rubber window plastic bags. Before storing them in controlled atmosphere, use mechanical refrigeration to pre-cool the cherries to about 1°C. Then put the packed cherries in a storage warehouse with a temperature of 90% to 95% humidity, 10% CO2, and 1% O2 under controlled atmosphere conditions. This method can keep the cherries for about 45 to 60 days. However, this method requires gradually raising the temperature of the storage warehouse before the cherries are put on the market. |
