How to grow thornless roses

Thornless rose is a kind of rose. It can be eaten and used as medicine. It is not only for viewing, but also has high economic value. Many people want to increase their income by planting thornless roses on a large scale. So how should this plant be planted? What should be paid attention to when planting and eating it?

1. Site selection

When planting thornless roses, you must choose the right land. If you are in a mountainous area, you can choose a hillside or a ground embankment. This will not only increase economic income but also prevent soil erosion. However, when planting thornless roses in plains, you must establish a large rose garden and choose fertile land with loose texture. Avoid choosing sticky land with heavy water accumulation.

2. Soil treatment

Before planting thornless roses, the soil must be properly treated, especially before planting thornless roses, the soil must be disinfected. Steam disinfection should be used as the main method. If conditions are unavailable, chloropicrin fumigation can also be used. However, deep plowing should be done several times after fumigation to prevent the drug from affecting the development of the root system of thornless roses. After the soil is disinfected, sufficient farmyard manure should be applied for plowing before the roses can be planted.

3. Planting and fertilization

When cultivating thornless roses, the length of the plant should be between 2 and 2.5 meters, and the spacing between plants should be between 1 and 1.5 meters. If it is in a plain area, the spacing between plants and rows can be appropriately increased. Dig a cultivation pit, put in the prepared seedlings, then fill the soil and tamp it down, and water it enough. When planting thornless roses, fertilize in time, especially in late autumn, combined with deep plowing, apply about 3,000 kilograms of farmyard manure per mu of land, and another time is after the thornless rose blooms, combined with loosening the soil, apply 5 to 25 kilograms of diammonium phosphate per mu of land, or other compound fertilizers.

4. Timely pruning

When planting thornless roses, you must pay attention to timely pruning. Old and diseased branches should be cut off in time. After the flowers bloom, they should be sheared in time, withered flowers should be removed, and the branches should be shortened. This will promote the growth of new branches and increase the number of flowers.
