Water hibiscus planting method steps

1. Steps for planting water hibiscus

First: Choose a pot first, then add some nutrient soil to the pot with garden soil. Before using the potting soil, you can heat it in a microwave to kill the insects inside, so that it will be easier to take care of later.

Second: After preparing the soil, spread a layer of bone meal as fertilizer, or sprinkle some slow-release fertilizer on it instead. After placing the water hibiscus, spread some soil on it.

Third: Water hibiscus can be inserted into the soil at a 15-degree angle, so that the bud end will appear in the center of the pot, and there will be more space for the roots to grow later.

Fourth: After placing the water hibiscus, you can spread some gravel or expanded clay on it to increase its beauty while improving the oxygen content of the entire potting soil.

2. Planting and management of water hibiscus - watering

Water hibiscus is a water-loving plant, so you need to add enough water every time. You can add water all the way to the petiole, otherwise the leaves will die because they cannot touch the water surface. So you need to fill the water tank. Water hibiscus needs to be changed with water every once in a while. If you find that the water surface is polluted or has a strange smell, you need to change the water immediately to avoid affecting the growth of the entire water hibiscus.
