1. Steps for planting water lilies

First: Choose a pot first, then add some nutrient soil to the pot with garden soil. Before using the potting soil, you can heat it in a microwave to kill the insects inside, so that it will be easier to take care of later.

Second: After preparing the soil, spread a layer of bone meal as fertilizer, or sprinkle some slow-release fertilizer on it instead. After placing the water lily, spread some soil on it.

Third: The water lily can be inserted into the soil at a 15-degree angle, so that the bud end will appear in the center of the pot, and there will be more space for the roots to grow later.

Fourth: After placing the water lilies, you can spread some gravel or expanded clay on them to increase the beauty while improving the oxygen content of the entire potting soil.

2. Planting and management of water lilies - watering

Water lilies are water-loving plants, so you need to add enough water each time. You can add water all the way to the petiole, otherwise the leaves will wither and die because they cannot touch the water surface. So you need to fill the water tank. Water lilies need to be changed every once in a while. If you find that the water surface is polluted or has a strange smell, you need to change the water immediately to avoid affecting the growth of the entire water lily .
