But how should drip coffee be brewed? How can you brew a perfect drip coffee? If you want to know more about this, you can read the detailed introduction of drip coffee brewing method below.

How to brew drip coffee

1. When brewing drip coffee, you need to prepare 200 ml of boiling water at about 95 degrees, a hand-brewed kettle, a bag of drip coffee, and a coffee cup.

2. Remove the outer packaging of the prepared drip coffee, and after getting the coffee bag for the week, tear the paper bag slowly along the dotted line, and then hang the drip coffee bag flat on the outer edge of the coffee cup. Next, pour the prepared boiling water into the hand-poured pot. The hand-poured pot prepared here must be a special coffee pot with a pointed mouth. Let it stand for a while, and when the water temperature drops to 92 or 93 degrees, it can be brewed.

3. To brew drip coffee, you need to add water into the coffee twice. The first time you add water, you should do it slowly and let the water flow and fully contact the coffee powder. The amount of water should be enough to immerse the coffee powder. After the first time you add water, let it stand for about 30 seconds. This will better extract the aroma of the coffee powder.

4. When pouring water for the second time, keep the speed slow and repeat the process from inside to outside in a circular trajectory. When the amount of water reaches about 200 ml, stop immediately. Let the drip coffee bag soak in the poured water for about 50 seconds, then you can take out the drip coffee bag, and the brewed coffee liquid will remain in the coffee cup. At this time, you can add milk or sugar cubes to taste according to your needs.

5. When brewing drip coffee, the brewing time is directly proportional to the concentration of the brewed coffee liquid. That is to say, the longer it is brewed, the higher the concentration of the coffee liquid will be, and the more obvious the bitter taste will be. Professionals have found through observation that when drip coffee is brewed for fifty seconds to one minute after adding boiling water, the concentration of the coffee liquid is most suitable and the taste is best.
