Tomato is a vegetable with rich nutritional value, so how do we grow it? Steps to grow tomatoes:1. You can buy some bags of tomato seeds. Or you can pick some seeds out of tomatoes while eating, rinse them with water, and dry them for later use. 2. Find some empty yogurt cans, put some mixed fertilizer in them, plant tomato seeds in the center of each can, slightly below the surface of the fertilizer, bury them, and lightly water them. 3. Label the jars clearly and place them on a sunny windowsill. Check them daily and water as needed, just enough to feel the fertilizer moist every time you touch it with your finger. Don't overwater. You should see sprouts emerging after a week :) 4. After four weeks, the sprouts will grow into seedlings. Gently take these seedlings out of the pot, try to keep the roots intact, and be careful not to damage the roots of the seedlings. Transplant the seedlings into a larger flower pot, fill it with seeds and fertilizer, and be careful to be gentle when adding soil to the plants and fixing their positions. 5. Check and water regularly. You will see flowers blooming in a few weeks. Small green tomatoes will be left after the flowers fall. 6. When your tomatoes are bright red and soft to the touch, they are ripe and ready to be picked and eaten. |
