1. Small green pod (Alaska):

Introduced from abroad, hard pod species, semi-climbing, white flowers, small green seeds, 4 to 7 seeds per pod, round, tender seeds for food. Seed coat shrunken, good quality, excellent variety for canning and freezing, cultivated in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou and other places.

2. Hangzhou White Flower:

It is a hard-pod variety, the plant is semi-climbing, it is cold-resistant, the flowers are white, each pod contains 4 to 6 seeds, the tender beans are of good quality, the seeds are round and smooth, light yellow, and the tender beans are edible.

3. Lianyang Double Flower:

Soft pods, creeping, white flowers, pods 6-7cm long, 1.3cm wide, round seeds, yellow-white, tender pods edible, good quality. Generally sown from September to November, harvested from late November to February of the following year. Origin: Chenghai, Guangdong.

4. Large pod peas (large pod snow peas):

Soft pod pea, vine length about 2m, 3-5 branches. Purple flower solitary, pods very large, 12-14cm long, 3cm wide, light green, slightly curved and uneven, about 40 young pods per 500g. Seed coat wrinkled, brown, young pods edible, tender and sweet, less fiber, cultivated in Guangdong area.

5. Chengdu Winter Peas:

This is a hard pod variety. This variety is heat-resistant and cold-resistant. The flowers are white. The pods are 7 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. Each pod has 4 to 6 seeds. They are round and smooth. The tender seeds are green and delicious. The quality is good. The tender beans are mainly used for food. Chengdu is sown from July to September and harvested from September to December. To save seeds, it is necessary to sow in autumn, that is, harvest the mature seeds after the Cold Dew (October) and sow them immediately. The seeds are harvested at the beginning of summer the following year and dried and stored.

Early maturing, hard pod variety, growing period of about 85 days, plant height 30-35cm, pods are neat, double flowers are common, single plant produces 5-6 pods, each pod has 5-6 seeds, dry seed yield per mu is 150-200kg.

7. Pea tip:

The flowers are white or light purple, and the young pods are 5 to 7 cm long. Each pod has 4 to 7 seeds, which are white-green and round. The young shoots are used as soup and stir-fry in southern provinces, and are one of the main fresh vegetables. For example, they are called "pea seedlings" in Shanghai, "dragon beard vegetables" in Guangzhou, and "pea tips" in Sichuan. The variety is beardless pea.
