300g bitter melon

Stuffed bitter gourd ingredients:

100g pork (lean), 30g lotus seeds, 30g egg white

Stuffed bitter melon seasoning:

5g ginger, 10g green onion, 10g cooking wine, 10g sugar, 25g corn starch, 4g salt, 2g chicken essence, 2g pepper powder, 30g chicken oil

How to make stuffed bitter melon

1. Wash the lotus seeds and grind them into coarse grains;

2. Wash the lean pork and chop it into puree;

3. Chop ginger into fine pieces and cut green onion into flowers;

4. Put lean pork, minced lotus seeds, minced ginger, chopped green onions, pepper powder, Sichuan pepper powder, soy sauce, cooking wine and egg white into a bowl and mix to make the filling;

5. Wash the bitter gourd, cut off both ends and remove the core;

6. Then stuff the meat filling into the bitter gourd, pound it tightly with chopsticks, and steam it in a steamer over high heat for 25 minutes before taking it out;

7. Cut into 4 cm long pieces and place neatly on a plate.
