Hawthorn spareribs ingredients and preparation

Speaking of hawthorn spareribs, I can't help but drool. Do you know how to make it? Let me introduce you to the details of this dish.

Hawthorn Spare Ribs

I bought dried hawthorns to make a delicious soup for skin care, but I accidentally saw a recipe for braised meat with dried hawthorns. I was curious and wanted to try what the dried hawthorns tasted like in cooking.

Ingredients for Hawthorn Spare Ribs

Pork spare ribs, a little dried hawthorn, 2 scallions, 5 large slices of ginger, some rock sugar, some light soy sauce, some dark soy sauce, 1 star anise, some Sichuan peppercorns, 1 small piece of cinnamon, a little fennel

How to cook hawthorn spareribs

1. Rinse the dried hawthorns and soak them in cold water, while chopping ginger and green onions.

2. Add 2 spoons of vegetable oil to the pan, add ginger slices until fragrant, then add spareribs and stir-fry until the oil turns clear.

3. Add cold water to cover the ribs, add all the seasonings and dried hawthorn, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to medium-low heat for 30 to 40 minutes (depending on your personal taste).

4. Take out the scallion, ginger and seasoning packet, and cook over high heat until the sauce thickens.

5. After serving, you can sprinkle with shredded or chopped green onions.

Tips

Taste characteristics: The hawthorn fragrance is completely different from the sour taste of vinegar, which perfectly combines the sour taste of fruit and the sweetness of rock sugar. The ribs are crispy but not mushy, and the aftertaste is endless. Most people can eat it.

1. Suitable for those with insufficient Qi and blood, yin deficiency and poor appetite;

2. People with internal accumulation of damp-heat and phlegm should take it with caution; those who are obese or have high blood lipids should not take too much.
