How to make fern root powder

1) Bring the water in the pot to a boil, hold one end of the fern root powder with your hand, spread it gently, and immediately stir it with chopsticks to soak all the fern root powder in the water. Turn the heat to medium and cook for about 4 minutes until the fern root powder becomes soft and there is no hard core in the middle when you pinch it with chopsticks.
