How to cook cucumber

1. Use scissors to cut the red pepper into thin strips.

2. Wash the ginger and cut into thin strips.

3. A useful tip for cutting cucumber skins is to use a pair of chopsticks. Place the chopsticks as shown in the picture. Hold the chopsticks and cut the cucumber into thin slices at a 45-degree angle as shown in the picture. Use the chopsticks to hold the slices so that you don't cut all the way through and the slices won't break in the middle.

4. Turn the cucumber over and place the chopsticks underneath to cut the other side. The cucumber will still be cut into pieces.

5. Spit salt on the surface of the cut cucumber.

6. Use boiling water to brew the chopped ginger to bring out its rich aroma, then add sugar, salt, and a little white vinegar.

7. Stir-fry the peppercorns in oil in a pan until fragrant.

8. Remove the peppercorns from the fried pepper oil.

9. After it cools down slightly, pour it into the chili peppers. At this time, the smell of the chili oil will rush into your nostrils, and you may sneeze. Here we warn you not to splash the chili oil close to different objects.

10. Put the chopped cucumber into a Lock & Lock box and add the shredded ginger water.

11. Cover the lid of the fresh-keeping box and shake it evenly.

12. Put it in the refrigerator and marinate for at least 4-5 hours. (If you are in a hurry, it will take 45 minutes.) In order to make it easier to absorb the flavor, you should put it upside down for a while.

13. After serving, add the fried chili pepper oil.

14. Sprinkle with cooked sesame seeds. The cucumber is fresh, fragrant and crisp, and it is as smooth as a straw raincoat when pulled apart.
