Plum

I think friends who have tasted the tree plum will never forget the taste. Let's learn some knowledge about this fruit tree.

Plum

Blue raspberry, also known as raspberry, is a perennial shrub belonging to the genus Rubus in the Rosaceae family. It is a berry fruit tree with more than 450 species, mainly distributed in the cold and temperate zones of the northern hemisphere, and a few in the tropical, subtropical and southern hemisphere. It is a fruit in Europe and the United States. It is widely distributed in China but is little known. It is only cultivated in small quantities in the northeast region and is relatively rare in the market. Its fruit is a polymer berry that is tender and juicy, pleasant in color, unique in flavor, rich in nutrition, and contains unsaturated fatty acids that can promote the secretion of prostaglandin hormones. In addition to fresh consumption, it is mainly used for processed products. The cultivation cycle of raspberries is short. After the one-year seedlings are planted, they will bloom and bear fruit in the second year, and enter the peak fruiting period in three or four years. The economic life span can reach more than 20 years.

How to plant plum trees

There are two planting methods: single plant planting and strip planting. In order to form luxuriant plants as soon as possible and achieve high yield density, 2 to 3 plants per hole and 660 to 990 seedlings per mu are suitable.

Before planting, the roots of the seedlings should be soaked in water for 12 to 24 hours to allow the roots to absorb enough water to increase the survival rate. The requirements for planting are deep planting and shallow burial. Deep planting means that the roots of the seedlings should be 10 to 15 cm from the ground, and shallow burial means within 30 cm around the seedlings. When stepping on the soil, do not exceed the original soil print on the branches.

Before planting, be sure to apply enough base fertilizer. Generally, each plant requires 10 kg of high-quality organic fertilizer. After planting, tamp and cover the soil in time and water it thoroughly at one time.

After raspberries are planted in spring, it usually takes 1 to 2 months for the basic branches to grow because the plant's nutritional center is in the underground roots, not above the ground. This is a special feature of raspberries that is different from other fruit trees. Therefore, it is advisable to investigate the survival rate of raspberries 2 months after planting.

Raspberry is a cold temperate deciduous fruit tree, with upright, semi-upright and creeping types, and an average tree height of 1-1.5 meters (up to 5 meters). Raspberry cultivation cycle is short, growth is fast, branches are many, yield is high, and benefits are long. 600 plants are planted per mu. After the one-year-old seedlings are planted, each plant can have 5-6 branches (up to 20) in the same year; it blooms and bears fruit in the second year, with an acre yield of 400-500 kilograms; the third and fourth years enter the peak fruit-bearing period, and the yield per mu can reach 1000-1500 kilograms. The fruit is black, red, yellow and other colors, oblong or wedge-shaped, and the weight of a single fruit is 6.8-8.6 grams for blackberries and 4.5-5.5 grams for red berries. Raspberries are divided into single season and double season, and the picking period is long. In Beijing, the fruit starts to bear fruit in June and can be picked until October.
