1. Wash the prepared millet, then soak it in clean water for two hours. After soaking, add water and grind it into rice paste.

2. Wash all the peanuts and cowpeas, cook them and set aside. Soak the vermicelli in clean water and cut the spiced dried tofu into small cubes for later use.

3. Heat oil in a pot, add star anise and stir-fry until fragrant, then add water and salt. After boiling, remove the five spices and add the chopped five-spice dried tofu, spinach and vermicelli to cook.
