Common dietary treatments for summer heat colds include:

(1) Fresh Reed Root Porridge 30g fresh reed root, 50g polished rice. First cut the reed root into sections, add appropriate amount of water, boil for 15 minutes, take the juice and add polished rice, cook until the rice is cooked, then add appropriate amount of rock sugar and eat.

(2) Watermelon juice: Remove the seeds from the watermelon and take out the pulp. Squeeze the juice with gauze and drink it frequently instead of tea.

(3) 10 grams of rock sugar watermelon, black fungus, 50 grams of watermelon rind, 20 grams of rock sugar, a few orange segments, and a few cherries.

Crush the rock sugar and put the washed and soaked black fungus into a bowl, steam it in a steamer for 5 minutes, take it out and cool it down, add the watermelon rind, orange segments and cherries, stir well and put it in the refrigerator for serving.

(4) Three Flower Soup: 15g white chrysanthemum, 20g honeysuckle, and 15g white lentil flower. Put the three ingredients in an enamel container, add water and boil the soup to drink as tea.

(5) Six kinds of decoction: 6 grams each of honeysuckle, white chrysanthemum, and rose, 10 grams each of ophiopogon and schisandra, and 120 grams of sour plum. First, boil the sour plum with water until it is soft, then add the above medicines and boil, remove the residue, and then add appropriate amount of rock sugar (white sugar), and drink after cooling.

(6) Three juices drink: lemon juice, grape juice, and fresh orange juice. Add equal amounts of the three juices to equal amounts of warm water, let cool, and drink.

(7) Mung bean porridge: 20 grams of mung beans and 30 grams of polished rice. Boil the mung beans first, add polished rice after they are slightly soft, and cook until the rice is cooked. Add appropriate amount of rock sugar before serving.
