Steps

1. Wash the prepared potatoes with clean water, peel them, and then cut them into thick strips of half a centimeter square. Wash them with clean water, then add a small amount of table salt and marinate for about half an hour.

2. Put enough water in the pot, bring it to a boil, put the marinated potato strips into the pot and start cooking. The cooking time is about 5 to 7 minutes. Cook the potato strips until they are 70% done. Take them out and drain the water. Remember not to overcook them, otherwise the fries will easily break when you cut them.

3. Put the drained potato strips in a small bowl, pour in the prepared milk and seal the bowl with plastic wrap. Put it in the refrigerator and refrigerate for more than three hours. Take out the small bowl from the refrigerator, then take out the potato strips from the milk, put them in a drain pan, and drain all the milk on the surface.

4. Put the potato strips into a fresh-keeping bag, seal the bag, and freeze it in the freezer for 3 to 4 hours. Heat the cooking oil in a pot, add a small piece of butter, and when the oil is heated to 80% to 90% hot, put the French fries directly into the pot for frying.

5. When you start frying the French fries, the oil temperature should not be too high. After the surface turns slightly yellow, take out the potato strips, then increase the oil temperature a bit, then put the French fries into the pot and fry them a second time. At this time, after the surface turns golden brown, take it out and drain the oil on the surface and put it on a plate. You can start to enjoy the delicious taste with ketchup.
