How to make honey soaked yellow peel

Method 1

1. To make kumquat soaked in honey, you can prepare fresh kumquat and honey in a 1:1 ratio. The honey should be pure and natural, high-quality honey. Try not to use honey mixed with pigments and chemicals. Huangpi selects those kumquat fruits that are naturally ripe, healthy and not rotten.

2. Wash the prepared kumquats with clean water, dry the surface moisture, then take out the core in the middle by hand, and put it directly into a large clean glass bottle, add a layer of kumquats, add a layer of honey, about 70% of the glass bottle, and pour honey on the top layer.

3. Put the cap on the glass bottle and store it in the refrigerator. After 24 hours, the juice of the kumquat will be released. Crush all the kumquats. When eating, take out an appropriate amount and add boiled water to mix it.

Method 2

1. To make honey-soaked kumquats, you need to prepare an appropriate amount of fresh kumquats, and then prepare an appropriate amount of pure water, rock sugar and honey. The amount of these materials can be selected according to your taste, but there is no strict regulation. Wash the prepared fresh kumquats with clean water and dry the surface moisture.

2. Place the kumquat directly in your hand, squeeze it hard to remove the core in the middle, then place it in a pot dipped in a clean cloth, add appropriate amount of purified water, then add rock sugar, heat to a boil, then turn down the heat and simmer over low heat. When the kumquat in the pot becomes soft and sticky, turn off the heat and let it cool naturally. When the temperature drops below 50 degrees, add appropriate amount of honey and mix well.

3. After taking out the prepared honey soaked kumquat, put it into a sealable glass bottle and store it in the refrigerator. After 3 to 7 days, you can take it out and eat it directly. The honey soaked kumquat prepared in this way not only tastes good and has excellent health benefits, but it can also effectively prolong the shelf life of kumquat fruit.
