Everyone is familiar with pineapples, but most people will remove the skin after buying pineapples, soak them in salt water and eat them raw, but they don’t know that there are many different delicious ways to eat pineapples. Making fresh pineapples into pineapple jam is much more delicious than eating them directly. So how should you make pineapple jam at home? I will tell you the specific method in a while.

Material

To make pineapple jam at home, you need to prepare a fresh pineapple, 100 grams of maltose, 100 grams of white sugar, and half a lemon.

Steps

1. Use a special tool to remove the skin of the prepared pineapple, then peel all the leaves on the bottom and top, wash the pulp with clean water, and then cut it into small cubes of uniform size.

2. Put the chopped pineapple cubes in a large bowl, add the prepared white sugar and mix well before marinating. You can put it in the refrigerator during marinating. The marinating time should be between 4 and 6 hours.

3. After the pineapple cubes are marinated, you will find that a large amount of sugar water has been precipitated. This sugar water must not be poured away. You can put it directly in the pot, and then add the prepared water, turn on the fire and cook it. After boiling, cook for another six or seven minutes, you will find a lot of foam on the surface. At this time, you need to use a strainer to remove the foam.

4. Turn the heat down to low, add the prepared maltose and mix thoroughly, then cook for 6 to 10 minutes. Squeeze the lemon juice from the prepared lemon, add it to the cooked pineapple sauce, mix thoroughly and let it cool down naturally.

5. Prepare a clean glass bottle, disinfect it with hot water to remove the moisture inside, take out the cooled pineapple jam, put it directly into the glass bottle, seal it, and store it in the refrigerator. You can take it out and eat it anytime you want.
