Cherry Tomato

Cherry tomatoes contain special substances such as glutathione and lycopene. These substances can promote the growth and development of the human body, especially the growth and development of children, and can increase the body's resistance and delay human aging. In addition, lycopene can protect the human body from carcinogenic toxins in cigarettes and automobile exhaust, and can improve the body's sun protection function. In recent years, American and German scientists have discovered that the lycopene in tomato products can not only prevent and fight cancer, especially prostate cancer, but also treat prostate cancer. The content of vitamin PP in cherry tomatoes ranks first among fruits and vegetables. The function of vitamin PP is to protect the skin, maintain the normal secretion of gastric juice, promote the formation of red blood cells, and also has an auxiliary therapeutic effect on liver disease. It can also beautify and have good sun protection effects. The malic acid or citric acid contained in cherry tomatoes helps gastric juice digest fat and protein

It is used for cough with yellow phlegm that is difficult to cough up, thirst due to fever, dry stool, excessive drinking, etc. However, it is not suitable for people with loose stools and prone to diarrhea and those with cough and thin white phlegm.

Honey can be used as an auxiliary treatment for the weak and sick, and for recovery after illness.

Osmanthus honey

Drinking a cup of honey water every morning and evening is very beneficial, because the potassium in honey has the effect of excreting sodium after entering the human body, which can maintain the electrolyte balance in the blood.

Candied cherry tomatoes ingredients

350g cherry tomatoes, 2 pears, 4 tablespoons of osmanthus honey, and a little rum.

practice

1. Blanch the cherry tomatoes in boiling water for about 10 seconds.

2. Take out the fruit, peel off the peel and put it in a bowl.

3. Peel the pear, remove the core, cut into pieces, and squeeze the juice. Pour it into a small bowl with cherry tomatoes. The pear juice should cover the surface of the cherry tomatoes.

4. Add osmanthus honey and a little rum, mix well, cover and put in the refrigerator to marinate for about 4 hours.

PS

1. The fresh pear juice here can be replaced with concentrated pear juice or autumn pear paste, which has a better flavor. (I don’t have either of these at home, so I chose fresh pear juice)

2. When pickling, remember to refrigerate it so that it will be cool and tasty.

3. Don’t waste the osmanthus pear juice that has been used to pickle cherry tomatoes. When cooking rice, put it on the steamer rack of the rice cooker and steam it. It is also a good drink for moistening the lungs.
