Ingredients and methods of making sweet orange jelly

I believe that everyone can often eat sweet orange jelly, but let me introduce to you the method of making this food.

Orange Jelly

Put the orange jelly in a small bowl with orange peel, wait for it to solidify, and then cut it into slices. It still looks like an orange, but the inner core has changed, and you will get a completely different and fun taste when you eat it! The cool, chewy, sweet and sour orange jelly is also a very suitable dessert for summer. Oranges are rich in nutrients, including vitamin C, which is an essential element for beauty and skin care. The key is that the method is also very simple, suitable for both adults and children.

Ingredients for Orange Jelly

4-6 oranges, 10g gelatin powder, some sugar, some mineral water

How to make sweet orange jelly

1. Soak 10 grams of gelatin powder with 5 times the amount of mineral water (cold) (five times means: if the amount of gelatin powder is two tablespoons, add 10 tablespoons of water) until the gelatin powder fully absorbs water and becomes a solid paste;

2. Cut each orange in half, scoop out the flesh with a spoon, keep the orange peel intact, and squeeze the scooped flesh to make orange juice;

3. Add appropriate amount of sugar to orange juice, heat and stir until sugar melts, let cool for later use;

4. Boil water in a pot, place the bowl with the fish gelatin powder in the pot, and stir the fish gelatin powder until it melts;

5. Mix the melted gelatin powder and the cooled orange juice evenly;

6. Pour the mixed jelly liquid into the orange peel bowl with the pulp removed, and refrigerate until the jelly liquid solidifies;

7. After the jelly liquid is completely solidified, take it out, cut it into small pieces with a knife, and it is ready to eat.

Tips

1. You can also use orange juice to make this jelly directly, and there is no need to add sugar, but the orange fragrance and the sweet and sour taste of orange juice will definitely not be so strong.

2. The amount of sugar can be adjusted according to personal preference. This does not affect the success of jelly making. The ratio is about 450ml orange juice to 10g of gelatin powder. Don't put too much gelatin powder, otherwise the jelly will be too tough and not tasty.

3. Fish gelatin powder can also be replaced with gelatin sheets. This amount requires about 3 gelatin sheets. The finished jelly liquid can also be put into other molds to shape. If you need to demold it, just soak the mold in hot water for a few seconds and then turn it upside down. The time must be mastered. If you soak it for a long time, the jelly will melt!
