How to grow rubber trees? Rubber tree cultivation methods and precautions

The leaves of the rubber tree are large, green and shiny. It is a kind of plant in the Moraceae family and an evergreen woody plant. It is the most popular foliage plant in life. People often make it into a potted plant and place it in the living room or office, which can play an important role in beautifying the environment. But if you want to keep the rubber tree in a good posture, you must master its correct cultivation method and know what to pay attention to during the cultivation process.

How to grow rubber trees? How to grow rubber trees

1. Rubber trees should be placed in a warm environment for cultivation. They prefer to grow in a warm environment of 20 to 25 degrees. This plant has a strong tolerance to high temperatures. Even if the ambient temperature exceeds 30 degrees, it can still grow normally. However, its cold resistance is relatively poor. When the ambient temperature is below ten degrees, it will enter a dormant state. When it is below five degrees, a large number of leaves will fall. In severe cases, it will die due to low temperature.

2. When raising rubber trees, you must also provide them with reasonable light, because sunlight is necessary for the normal growth of plants, and rubber trees are no exception. They need sufficient sunlight during normal growth, but rubber trees are afraid of direct sunlight. Therefore, after entering the hot summer, you must carry out necessary shading treatment, or you can move it to an environment where it cannot be exposed to strong light.

Precautions for cultivating rubber trees

1. Many people often fertilize rubber trees when they are growing them, but even so, its leaves will appear spotted or fall off. This shows that the fertilizers people use are not reasonable. The rubber tree does not have a high demand for fertilizers, but if you want its leaves to become bright, you must supplement nitrogen fertilizer in time during its growth process, and stop fertilizing in time after entering winter.

2. When cultivating rubber trees, you must also pay attention to pruning and repotting. During the growth period of the rubber tree, you must promptly cut off its branches and thin branches to maintain good ventilation and beautiful tree shape. When cultivating rubber trees, you must repot them every two years. Not only must you replace them with larger pots, but you must also replace them with new nutrient soil. After each repotting, you must place them in a cool environment to slow down the growth. It will take about ten days for them to adapt to the new soil, and then you can move them to a normal environment for cultivation.
