How to grow jasper flowers? Jasper flower cultivation methods and precautions

Jasper flower is also called small jade. It is the most common green foliage plant in life. The leaves of this plant are green and shiny, and the plant shape is beautiful. It is small and cute. It can be placed in front of the window or on the table after being made into a potted plant. But in life, many people still don’t know how to grow Jasper flower. Today I will introduce its cultivation method to everyone, and also tell you what you need to pay attention to when growing Jasper flower.

How to grow jasper flower

1. Nutrient soil

Jade flowers can be grown in loose, fertile, and well-drained sandy soil. Do not use clay soil, otherwise its growth will be very slow. When growing jade flowers, you can use leaf mold, river sand, and decomposed organic fertilizer to prepare nutrient soil. If conditions permit, you can also use peat soil and perlite to make nutrient soil.

2. Sunlight

When growing jade flowers, they must be exposed to moderate sunlight. The plant is relatively shade-tolerant and can usually be grown in a semi-shaded environment. However, after entering winter, it must be placed in a sunny environment, otherwise its branches and leaves will grow too long and the distance between branches and leaves will increase, which will significantly reduce its ornamental value.

3. Control the temperature

When growing jade flowers, you should also pay attention to temperature control. This plant likes a warm environment and grows fastest when the outside temperature is between 20 and 30 degrees. However, after entering winter, its endurance is particularly poor. The indoor temperature should be kept above ten degrees. If the room temperature drops below ten degrees, it will stop growing. When it drops below five degrees, it will suffer frost damage.

Things to note when raising a Jade Flower

When applying fertilizer to Jasper Flower, you must pay attention to the fact that it is directly related to the temperature of the external environment. When the external temperature is below 18 degrees or above 30 degrees, it is not suitable to fertilize Jasper Flower. In addition, this plant should be pruned in time during the cultivation period. When its seedlings grow to about ten centimeters, they should be topped. Only in this way can it grow more strips and make the plant shape fuller.
