How to grow Anthurium? Cultivation techniques of Anthurium

Anthurium is a unique plant native to the tropical rainforests of South America. It was later introduced to all parts of the world and is now a hot-selling variety in the domestic flower market. However, people don’t know much about the cultivation methods of this plant. They don’t know what methods and techniques are used in its cultivation. Today, the editor will introduce some knowledge in this area to everyone, so that everyone can easily understand how to cultivate Anthurium.

How to grow Anthurium

Usually, people can choose two completely different ways to grow Anthurium. It can not only be planted in the soil of a flowerpot, but also placed in clean water. However, when growing Anthurium in water, you should first disinfect its roots, dry them after disinfection, and then put fresh tap water in the sun for two to three days before you can put the Anthurium in the water. As long as you change the water in time, fertilize in time and maintain proper light, the Anthurium can grow normally.

Anthurium cultivation methods and techniques

1. When you grow anthurium, you must control the temperature. When the indoor temperature is between 16 and 24 degrees, it is most suitable for the growth of red dates. If the indoor temperature exceeds 30 degrees, you must move the anthurium to a ventilated and cool place, and spray it with water in time to cool it down.

2. Fertilizer and water management is also very important in the cultivation of Anthurium. This plant likes a humid environment. When grown in soil in Huadu, it should be watered 2 to 3 times a week. Moreover, it has a relatively large demand for fertilizer during the growth period. Nutrient solution or diluted liquid fertilizer should be applied once every half a month or ten days.

3. Moderate light is also an important skill in growing Anthurium. This plant prefers sufficient scattered light during its growth period and cannot be placed in direct strong light, otherwise its leaves and flowers will be burned by the strong light. After entering winter, the Anthurium needs to be moved to a sunny windowsill or balcony. Only in this way can the Anthurium grow normally and its ornamental value will not decrease.
