What to do if the leaves of the plant turn yellow

The gypsophila truncatum is a kind of lucky bamboo. It is evergreen all year round and symbolizes good luck and success. People like to place it at home for cultivation. However, many people find that its leaves often turn yellow when they cultivate the gypsophila truncatum, which reduces its ornamental value. What can we do about it? What are the reasons for the yellowing of the leaves of the gypsophila truncatum?

1. Nutritional supplement

Many people find that the leaves of newly purchased gaojie gao will turn yellow not long after they get home. This is because the bamboo has not yet grown roots and the leaves turn yellow due to poor nutrition. The best way to deal with it is to wait patiently. As long as the bamboo stems of the gaojie gao are still hard, you can cut off the yellow leaves, soak it in clear water, add an appropriate amount of nutrient solution to supplement its nutrition, and fresh green leaves will grow soon.

2. Adjust the temperature

There is a certain seasonality in the cultivation of kaempferia schrenkiana. It is best cultivated in water between April and September each year, because the weather during this period is relatively mild, which is suitable for the growth and germination of kaempferia schrenkiana. However, if it is cultivated in the cold winter, the planting structure needs to heat up the environment in which it is located, otherwise its leaves will turn yellow.

3. Pay attention to water quality

Unsuitable water quality is also the main reason for the red leaves during the breeding process. If the water quality is corrupt, or tap water is used for breeding, it will cause the leaves to turn yellow. The best way to deal with it is to change the water in time. When changing the water, it is best to choose cold boiled water or purified water, and then cut off the yellow leaves and new leaves will grow after a while.

4. Adjust the lighting time

Lack of light is also one of the main reasons for the yellowing of leaves. If the light is too dark, it cannot get enough sunlight and chlorophyll cannot be produced, so its leaves will turn yellow. However, if it is placed under strong light for a long time, the leaves will be damaged and will turn yellow. The best way to deal with it at this time is to adjust the lighting time to avoid direct sunlight.
