Grass coral is not only a traditional Chinese medicine, but also a green ornamental plant that can be cultivated at home. It can purify the air, beautify the environment, and also please the body and mind. Cao coral has strong vitality and its cultivation method is relatively simple, but everyone must have a comprehensive understanding of its reproduction method before cultivation, and know how to plant grass coral.

1. Seed propagation

Seeding propagation is one of the most common propagation methods of Coral Grass. Usually, you can collect its seeds when its fruits are ripe from October to December each year, and then sow and plant them directly from February to March of the following year. New seedlings will grow about 20 days after sowing. However, you must choose loose and fertile soil when sowing. Only in this way can you promote the rapid growth of Coral Grass seedlings.

2. Cutting propagation

The vitality of coral grass is quite tenacious, and it can be propagated by cuttings. Cuttings need to be carried out in the warm season from March to April every year, and one to two years of high-quality branches from healthy plants should be selected. Bundle them together, soak them in rooting powder solution for three minutes, take them out and directly insert them into the soft soil of the flowerpot. After inserting, place them in a cool environment and water them well. New roots will grow in about a month.

3. Division propagation

The plant of Coral Grass can be propagated by division, which is best done in early spring or late autumn. When propagating by division, you can cut Coral Grass 10 cm above the soil, dig out the rest, and then cut its stems into small plants with roots, plant them in different pots, water them, fertilize them in time, and place them in a cool place to slow down the growth of bacteria. Most plants will recover in 15 days, and timely fertilization can make Coral Grass grow quickly.
