How to pickle garlic

Ingredients: garlic, salt, brown sugar, rice vinegar, star anise, water.

1. Remove the outermost layer of the garlic skin. Then hollow out the middle part (to make the garlic taste good)

2. Soak the garlic in clean water for a day or two to remove the spicy taste of the garlic.

3. Put the garlic into the jar, add salt as you put it in, and then seal it and marinate it.

4. After a week of pickling, take out the garlic and dry it in the sun. Then put it back into the jar.

5. Add water to a pot and bring it to a boil. Add brown sugar and rice vinegar, and then let it cool naturally. When it is completely cool, pour it into the garlic pot and cover it. It can be eaten after a week.

Tips

1. If you like it to be sourer, you can add more rice vinegar when marinating.

2. Do not pour out the garlic juice after pickling. Use it to cook. This way, the stir-fried vegetables will have a very fragrant sour taste and will be delicious.
