Jasper cultivation methods and precautions

Jasper is a beautiful foliage plant. Its leaves are evergreen and fleshy. It is small and exquisite. The plant is generous and beautiful. It can be placed on a desk or windowsill. However, it is not easy to grow a plant like Jasper. You need to master its cultivation method and understand what you need to pay attention to when growing Jasper.

Farming methods

1. Soil

When cultivating a plant like jade, it is important to choose suitable soil. Jade likes loose, fertile, well-drained, and fertile soil rich in humus. It cannot be planted in clay and alkaline soil. When cultivating it at home, you can use leaf mold, river sand, organic fertilizer and other materials to mix together to prepare the potting soil.

2. Lighting conditions

Jasper is a foliage plant that usually likes an environment with plenty of sound or scattered light, but after entering winter, it needs plenty of sunlight, otherwise its leaves will become thinner, turn yellow, and sometimes fall off. After entering the hot summer weather, necessary shade measures must be taken for Jasper, and it must not be placed in direct sunlight.

3. Breeding environment

The jade plant likes a warm and well-ventilated growing environment. It should be placed in a well-ventilated and relatively high temperature environment during normal cultivation. It grows fastest when the indoor temperature is between 20 and 30 degrees. When the temperature reaches below ten degrees in winter, it will stop growing. If the room temperature reaches below zero, it will die due to the low temperature.

Breeding precautions

When raising Jasper, you must pay attention to fertilization. This plant does not require much fertilizer during its growth period, and its fertilization time has a lot to do with the ambient temperature. When the ambient temperature is higher than 18 degrees, you can give it an appropriate amount of fertilizer, but when the temperature is lower than 18 degrees or higher than 30 degrees, you should stop fertilizing Jasper. And when fertilizing this plant, you must follow the principle of small amounts and multiple times. It is best to choose nitrogen fertilizer and potassium fertilizer when fertilizing, and you can also use phosphorus fertilizer in moderation.
