How to cultivate Jade Guanyin? Cultivation methods and precautions of Jade Guanyin

Jade Guanyin, also known as Guanyin Lotus, is a dignified and elegant leafy succulent plant. Its appearance is like a blooming lotus, very beautiful. It is one of the green plants that people usually like to grow at home. However, people always encounter various problems when growing Jade Guanyin. Today I will write down the cultivation method of Jade Guanyin and share it with everyone, so that everyone can further understand how to grow Jade Guanyin.

How to cultivate Jade Guanyin

1. Soil for breeding Jade Guanyin

If you want to grow Jade Guanyin well, its soil is very important. It is best to choose loose, fertile, well-drained and breathable soil. You can use leaf mold or peat soil and coarse sand or vermiculite, and then add an appropriate amount of bone meal and calcium to mix well before growing Jade Guanyin. The potting soil is just prepared and is moist. The newly planted Jade Guanyin does not need to be watered too much. Keep it in a semi-dry state for the best recovery.

2. Temperature for breeding jade Guanyin

The plant of Jade Guanyin likes a warm and humid semi-shady environment. It grows fastest when the outside temperature is between 20 and 30 degrees. It has poor cold resistance and cannot be placed in an environment below 5 degrees in winter, otherwise it will die due to low temperature. When cultivating Jade Guanyin in summer, it should be placed in a cool place without direct sunlight and with good ventilation, and watering and fertilizing should be stopped, otherwise its roots will rot.

3. Daily maintenance of Jade Guanyin

When raising Jade Guanyin, you cannot place it in an extremely cold or hot environment. In spring and autumn, you can ensure sufficient sunlight, otherwise it will make the plant loose and not compact, affecting its ornamental value. Watering and fertilizing Jade Guanyin also require special attention. I must master the principle of not watering when it is not dry and watering thoroughly when it is watered. Water cannot accumulate in the flowerpot, and it cannot be too dry. Watering once every 3 to 4 days is enough. When raising Jade Guanyin, you can fertilize it every 20 days or so. It is best to choose a thin liquid fertilizer or a compound fertilizer with low nitrogen and high phosphorus and potassium.
