How to make delicious braised catfish slices

Catfish is a common aquatic fish in the market. It is very popular because it has few scales and few bones. Catfish has four long whiskers and its body is tender and delicious, so foodies have made many different ways to eat catfish. However, the most important way to cook fish is braised, so today we will tell you how to make braised catfish slices.

How to make braised catfish

1. Preparation of ingredients for braised catfish

Catfish and pork belly are the main ingredients, and you also need to prepare two teaspoons of rice vinegar, one teaspoon each of dark soy sauce and cooking wine, a little salt and sugar, a little onion, ginger, garlic, and a small bowl of starch.

2. How to make braised catfish

Step 1: Clean the catfish, remove the internal organs, repeatedly clean the mucus on the body, remove the head and tail, and chop into pieces

Step 2: Marinate the catfish segments with salt, rice wine, shredded green onion and ginger for a while.

Step 3: Slice the pork belly and dice the garlic for later use.

Step 4: Coat the marinated and soaked catfish segments with starch powder.

Step 5: Heat the oil in a pan. When the oil is about 60% to 70% hot, put the catfish pieces coated with dry starch into the pan and fry repeatedly until golden brown.

Step 6: After the garlic slices are sautéed, add the pork belly, salt, rice wine, soy sauce, sugar and vinegar, and add the clear soup to cook.

Step 7: When the soup boils, add the catfish and simmer over low heat until the flavor is absorbed. When the soup is reduced, add some shredded green onions and bell peppers.
