However, water spinach is mainly produced in the south, and people in many areas of the north do not know how to eat water spinach and how to cook it best. For this reason, I specially wrote down the water spinach recipes I sorted out to share with you.

How to cook water spinach

1. Stir-fried water spinach with chopped pepper

Stir-fried water spinach with chopped pepper is very delicious and the method is also simple. You only need to prepare 400 grams of fresh water spinach, a spoonful of chopped pepper, and then prepare an appropriate amount of garlic and cooking oil. Wash the water spinach and cut it into sections. Heat the oil in the pot, add the chopped pepper and stir-fry until fragrant, then add the minced garlic, and then add the water spinach. Stir-fry quickly over high heat. After two minutes, add an appropriate amount of edible salt for seasoning, mix well and serve.

2. Minced Pork and Water Spinach

Minced meat with water spinach is also a common way people eat water spinach. It requires 100 grams of pork filling, an appropriate amount of chopped ginger and garlic, and 500 grams of water spinach. Remove the old stems of the water spinach and cut it into sections. Put oil in a wok, heat it and add the minced meat. Add a small amount of light soy sauce, then add the chopped ginger and garlic, stir-fry evenly, then add the water spinach and stir-fry for three to five minutes. Add an appropriate amount of table salt and a small amount of MSG, stir well and serve.

3. Water spinach with sesame sauce

The water spinach with sesame sauce is also very delicious. When making it, you need to wash the water spinach, cut it into sections and blanch it with boiling water. After blanching, take it out and rinse it with cold water, then take it out and remove the moisture. Peel the garlic and make it into garlic paste, put it into the water spinach, add appropriate amount of table salt and the prepared sesame sauce, mix well and then serve.
